JOURNAL

Around three weeks ago, I inadvertently lost my 3 websites - the work of years. I am slowly rebuilding the GC site here, consolidating all three if possible. There is an exciting new addition to the site - the Magic Lantern. I and a buddy are tinkering with an animated movie of Gom on Windy Mountain and aim to link to scenes as we go. It is very much a work in progress - revising, revising. We are working in Open Toonz and Da Vinci. Since we knew nothing of either program we are taking the usual "steep learning curve."

On a personal note, I live in a forest on a mountain. We are enriching our terrain with plants that belong. It has been the usual turbulent and joyous summer. Now the troops prepare to go back to school, whew, and I quote, And...the silence surged softly backwards/When the plunging hooves were gone.
